Double rooms used as singles will incur an under occupancy charge of 50%.
Adults only - no children, no pets.
This is a non-smoking country house. (Ash trays are provided on the patio outside.) 
 

Booking - A deposit of £50 per guest plus 1.5% of the cost of your holiday to cover you with our Holiday Cancellation Scheme is required to secure accommodation.  This is not refundable unless covered by our Holiday Cancellation Scheme.  Payments may be made by debit or credit card- phone 01983 730010 or by cheque made payable to The Hermitage.

Cancellation - Cancellation not covered by our Holiday cancellation Scheme will be liable for two thirds of the total tariff if we are unable to re-let the accommodation.  Cancellations less than one week before arrival will be liable for the full holiday cost unless covered by the Holiday Cancellation Scheme.

Arrival - Your accommodation is available from 2pm on the day of arrival until 11am on day of departure.  Guests may arrive before 2pm but their rooms may not be ready. Payment is required in full on arrival.  No discounts or refunds will be given for meals not taken or for early departure.

Holiday Cancellation Scheme - The Hermitage Country House operates a compulsory Holiday Cancellation Scheme to cover advance payments and deposits.  The cost is 1.5% of the total cost of your holiday, and is payable at the time of booking.  If you wish to cover your booking with alternative cancellation insurance, written evidence must be provided at time of booking.

Cover - Repayment in full of deposits and advance payments made to the Country House in the event of death, serious illness or injury to yourself or any direct member of your family, making it impossible or impractical for you to take your holiday - on receipt of valid medical certificate or documentary proof substantiating your claim.
