The highlights of any stay at The Hermitage are the peaceful surrondings, the sumptous accommodation and probably the finest breakfast you will ever have!

Breakfast is served leisurely between the hours of 8.30am until 10.00am.

Please help yourself to a selection of chilled juices, fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, cheese and home made scones and muffins from the breakfast table.

We will be pleased to take your order for brown or white toast.

We offer Cafetiere full roast or decaffeinated coffee, dacaffeinated tea, Ceylon, Earl Grey or a selection of fruit teas.

A traditional English Breakfast of grilled bacon, a choice of egg, sausage, hash brown, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes (baked beans on request).

Vegetarian sausages, choice of egg, hash brown, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes (baked beans on request).

OMELETTE BREAKFAST

Choice of plain, ham, cheese or mushroom, served with grilled tomato or baked beans.

Smoked haddock served with eggs of your choice.

Finest gammon served with eggs of your choice.

AMERICAN STYLE PANCAKES

Chef's own American style pancakes served with lemon or maple syrup.

All our breakfasts are freshly cooked to order and may involve a delay.
